Cynthia wakes up in a parking lot with no memory of who she is or how she got there. When she finally finds her way home, she discovers that a seductive and violent stranger has taken over her apartment. A battle of wills ensues as Cynthia attempts to both regain her own identity and to name the identity of the intruder, but the closer she gets to the truth, the more dangerous the stranger becomes. MATTER is a darkly comedic and shocking psychological thriller: a deep journey into the gray matter that forces us to make the impossible choice between flight and fight.
